Magic Solutions, Inc.: Moving for more submissions
Submitted to two more places… I’m hoping to increase it so I can claim to at least ten rejections before the end of the year on the book. I’ll take an acceptance, too, of course, but I think this is a good way to look at it.
And I know publishers and agents ask if people check their science with their Science Fiction books–I do. I had a Chemist, a biologist and a Computer Engineer help with mine. So they could answer things like: Could a fairy stay on the brim of a cowboy hat? (Well, I had to get people to test that in an experiment… the answer being yes.) I take my science seriously.
What I’ve been up to…
I am still on my agent hunt. And as I go, when I promote my book, I seem to get more and more fans. They latch onto things like, “Giant God Squirrels” which makes me raise my hopes up that some agent will see the charm of this book.
I can hope to get an agent soon. In the meantime, I’ll work on my next book.
